Robots In Work Force May Not Mean Fewer Jobs For Humans

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. – As technology grows, many assume the use of robots in the world’s factories are erasing the need for human employees, but new research shows that’s not the case, reports the Wall Street Journal.

A report by the Brookings Institution and two European economists who studied job losses in countries between 1996 and 2012 who had adopted robots into factories shows there is no relation between a rise in robot use in businesses and a fall in employment of humans, according to the report.
