This free family-friendly event will feature live music by local musician Chris Coogan, food, pony rides, face painting, a dunk tank, a silent auction and more. The Greater Bridgeport Symphony will host Musical Petting Zoo, a tent where visitors can play a variety of percussion instruments.

Local vendors will also be on site selling goods such as jewelry, furniture, art and toys.

The Best Chocolate Chip Cookie in Connecticut contest will take place during the event. Local judges will be Weston Forum Editor Kim Donnelly, Weston Selectman Gayle Weinstein, Weston Fire Chief John Pokorny and Weston High School Student Government Co-President Jackson Marvin.

Guidelines for the contest can be found here.

“Our annual fair is one of Emmanuel’s most substantial community-building events of all,” said Robert M. Ross, reverend and Emmanuel Episcopal Church rector, in a press release. “It brings together people from all walks of life within our parish and beyond. It also provides the opportunity to extend our hospitality to Weston and neighboring towns at large. I look forward to it with great enthusiasm.”

Attendees are asked to bring nonperishable food items for the Weston Pantry.
