BEDFORD, N.Y. -- Bedford resident Zach Morant was named the Con Edison Student-Athlete of the Week for his performance on the soccer field that helped lead Tarrytown's Hackley School to the New York State Association of Independent Schools title, according to LoHud.com.

Photo Credit: ContributedMorant, a four-year starter for the Hackley School, finished his senior campaign with eight goals and nine assists over his final nine games, LoHud.com reported.
Morant also coaches and referees youth soccer in the area, LoHud.com said. He was also a member of the Bedford Inferno Soccer team.
