Crews were out Tuesday morning to clear up the remains of a 30-35 foot tree that fell last Thursday on College Avenue after severe weather hit the Sleepy Hollow area.
The tree knocked down several power lines, causing street residents to lose power. Sleepy Hollow also closed off the road to traffic for a brief period.
The Sleepy Hollow Department of Public Works removed the tree itself last Thursday night, but branches, limbs and leaves were left on the sidewalks until Tuesday morning.
Workers said they expected to clear everything up on Tuesday.
