STAMFORD, Conn. Kathi Joan Foster, 55, died suddenly on June 14 in Houston. Before moving to Texas, she was a longtime resident of Stamford.
She graduated from Stamford Catholic High School in 1973. Foster went on to work in information technology for Texaco Corporation in Westchester County before accepting a postion with the Chevron Corporation and moving to Houston.
During her time in Houston she became an active member of St. Annes Roman Catholic Church, serving on the board and as a euchartic minister.
Foster is survived by sister Patricia Foster Simmons and husband her, Edward; her nephew; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Calling hours for Foster will be Friday, Aug. 5, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Bosak Funeral Home & Cremation, 453 Shippan Ave., Stamford, Conn. A memorial service will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 6, at St. Bridgets of Ireland Roman Catholic Church, with interment to follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery.
