Harrison Police to Open Doors to Residents Sunday

HARRISON, N.Y. - The Harrison Police Department is inviting residents inside its facility on Sunday for an annual open house featuring demonstrations and hands-on information sessions.

The open house, scheduled for Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 650 North St., will include a full tour of the police headquarters, the opportunity to sit inside a Harrison police car and demonstrations from police dogs, Harrison Emergency Medical Services and the Harrison Fire Department.

Harrison Police Chief Anthony Marraccini will be leading different aspects of the open house so residents can become more familiar with the police force.

Marraccini said there will also be representation from the Mt. Pleasant Police Department, County police and New York State Police. The Harrison PBA will be providing free hotdogs, popcorn and soda for all in attendance.

Residents seeking more information on the behind-the-scenes look at Harrison Police headquarters can call (914) 967-5110.
