DARIEN, Conn. Students used their imaginations to produce some horrifying projects last week as they created plaster monsters in the eighth-grade art classes at Middlesex Middle School.
Students explored the meaning and function of a "monster" through a PowerPoint presentation with visuals that helped them imagine what their monsters would look like. The projects combine emotions, historical art figures such as gargoyles, and other visuals from different forms of media.
