WESTON, Conn. Ellie Martin scored 17 points and grabbed 22 rebounds to lead Westons girls basketball team past Oxford, 46-29, in a South-West Conference girls basketball game Tuesday night.
Weston improved to 2-5 on the season as it built a 24-9 halftime lead and cruised to the win.
Lianna Hursch added 14 points for the Trojans, while Taylor Swanson had nine points and six assists. Anna Mahony contributed four points and 10 rebounds.
Weston returns to action Friday when it hosts Masuk at 7 p.m.
