Jane T. Frawley, 88, Longtime Saddle Brook Resident

SADDLE BROOK, N.J. — Longtime Saddle Brook resident Jane T. Frawley died Sunday, June 5. She was 88.

A Saddle Brook resident for 59 years, Frawley was a Radio City Music Hall Rockette and served with the United Service Organization, U.S.O., during World War II. 

Frawley was a parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church in Saddle Brook and was a founding member of the Rosary Altar Society, as well as the choreographer of numerous school performances. 

Prior to retiring, she was a secretary with the guidance department of the Township of Saddle Brook High School for many years. 

Frawley is survived by her son, Ray Frawley and his wife, Lesia Frawley; her daughter, Kay McCormick and her husband, Stephen McCormick; her grandchildren, Kevin McCormick, Kristen McCormick-Zamor, Lauren McCormick and Jon and Leanna Frawley; her great-granddaughter, Lauren Bijou Zamor. She also is survived by her brother, Lawrence Fitzsimmons and his wife, Pat; her brother, Jack Fitzsimmons and his wife, Polly; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Frawley was predeceased by her husband, Charles Frawley; and her brother, Walter Fitzsimmons.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home, 13-31 Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn.

A funeral Mass is planned for 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, 488 Saddle River Road, Saddle Brook. 

Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
