Prospect Park Teens Phoned Bomb Threats To Manchester HS, Grade School

PASSAIC COUNTY, N.J. – Two juveniles – 14 and 15 – phoned in bogus bomb threats to Manchester Regional High School in Haledon and Prospect Park School No. 1, said authorities who served them with delinquency complaints.

The schools were evacuated and then searched by the Passaic County Sheriff’s Department’s Bomb Squad following the threats.

The Prospect Park teens could be committed to a juvenile detention facility by a Family Court judge following a hearing on complaints of causing a false public alarm, authorities noted.
