Hoffman Landscapes in Wilton reported a burglary occurred on its property between 7:30 p.m. Dec. 9 and 7 a.m. Dec. 10. According to a police report, five Echo backpack leaf blowers and two Little Wonder push leaf blowers were taken out of the back of three vans.
The case remained open as the owner of Hoffman compiles a list of serial numbers and values for the items taken.

? A case of criminal mischief was reported at a Ridgefield Road residence Dec. 10, with the residents telling police that a large window in their home was broken with either a BB or pellet gun between Dec. 4 and Dec. 6.
According to Wilton Police, painters were at the residence until 3:30 p.m. Dec. 4 and no damage had been done. The house remained vacant until the residents returned at 9 a.m. Dec. 6 and found the window broken.
? A pair of silhouette prescription eyeglasses was found on the trail between Merwin Meadows and Wilton High School on Dec. 9. The owner should contact the Wilton Police Department to get their glasses back.
