Smash Mouth, The Music Of Styx Headlining At Norwalk's Oyster Festival

This year's festival will be held Sep.11-13. From food, to rides, to crafts, this end-of-summer bash is filled with fun for everyone. The entertainment lineup includes national acts such as John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band on Friday, and Dennis DeYoung: The Music of STYX on Saturday. And on Sunday, the iconic 90s band Smash Mouth will take the stage.

NORWALK, Conn.  -- Looking to fill your stomach with the area's best seafood and enjoy top level entertainment? The 38th annual Norwalk Seaport Association Oyster Festival is right around the corner.

For those looking to quench their thirst in between sets, there will be a Craft Beer tent featuring more than 25 beers, an expanded food court, the Kid’s Cove with rides and games, and the largest ever Arts & Crafts Pavilion with more than 100 booths. The annual oyster-slurping contest will also be held. 

The event is held at Veterans Park, adjacent to Norwalk Harbor on Seaview Avenue in Norwalk. Admission for adults is $10 on Friday, $12 on Saturday and Sunday. Children 5-12 years old are $5. U.S. military personnel on active duty are free. All entertainment is included in ticket prices. Tickets can be purchased at www.seaport.org
