The Tubes made rock history in the '70s and '80s with such classic rock staples as “White Punks On Dope,” “What Do You Want From Life,” “Mondo Bondage,” “Don't Touch Me There,” “Sushi Girl” and “Talk To Ya Later.” Thanks to a provocative video, the No. 1 Billboard hit single "She's a Beauty" pushed the 1983 LP "Outside/Inside" into the Top 20 Albums chart.

The lifeline of the band has always been its live performances, which demonstrate how they treat rock ‘n’ roll as theater. From the exuberant and imaginative to the outrageous, The Tubes puts on one of the most entertaining and over the top live shows in the genre. This San Francisco-based band is known for combining lewd quasi-pornography and wild satires of media, consumerism and politics. Fee Waybill, Roger Steen, Prairie Prince, Rick Anderson and David Medd will demonstrate their manic energy at The Ridgefield Playhouse.
