Nile released his self-titled debut album (1980), which according to one critic remains “one of the most thrilling post-Byrds folk-rock albums of all time.” His career was interrupted several times by various problems, but he has always returned to recording and performing in the U.S. and Europe, re-establishing himself as a singer/songwriter.

Nile’s music has that timeless quality of melodic craft, lyrical insight and emotional engagement that have endeared him to listeners around the world. His "American Ride" release in 2013 ranks among the most powerful and personally charged work of his three and-a-half-decade recording career.

In the words of Lucinda Williams: “Willie Nile is a great artist. If there was any justice in this world, I’d be opening for him instead of him for me.”

Ticket holders will receive a free glass of wine or beer in the lobby beginning at 6:45 p.m. and sample of Wild Turkey courtesy of Campari America.

The special guest is Jefferson Grizzard, a singer/songwriter whose new album is "Learning How To Lie."

Another plus – Little Pub on Ethan Allen Highway is offering a free glass of wine or draught beer with dinner the night of the show when ticket/stub is presented.

An AllShows.com VIP Party Pass for $25 additional per person, which includes a pre-show cocktail party 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. with open bar, hors-d’oeuvre and priority parking is available for this show, which is part of the Xfinity Rock Series.
