Wilton Triathlete Katie Bottini Featured On Vogue Website

WILTON, Conn. -- Wilton triathlete Katie Bottini was featured in a story posted last week on Vogue.com.

Bottini, 28, is a 2004 graduate of Wilton High School. She played lacrosse, basketball and field hockey at Wilton. She also played lacrosse at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst before transferring to Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, where she graduated with a degree in exercise science and nutrition.

Bottini, now a triathlete, personal trainer and fitness model for Wilhelmina, talks about her training, diet and her hair secrets in the Vogue story.

She has competed in many road races and triathlons around the region. In 2012, she represented Team USA in the Triathlon World Championships in New Zealand. She finished second for Team USA.
