Georgetown School Of The Arts Offers Kids Classes In Wilton

WILTON, Conn. — Wilton's young residents will have plenty of options this winter if they have an interest in art, as both Paint, Draw & More! and the Georgetown School of the Arts announced their winter class schedules.

Paint, Draw & More! will hold a Cartooning 1 class for ages eight to 11 on Monday afternoons at the Cider Mill School, located on 240 School Road in Wilton. The class's winter session will run from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Jan. 12 to March 16. Cost per student is $195.

A Drawing Mixed Media class will be held on Tuesday afternoons from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Miller Driscoll School, located at 217 Wolfpit Road in Wilton. Scheduled to run from Jan. 13 to March 3, this eight-week class is for ages five to eight. Cost per student is $195.

Georgetown School of the Arts will hold its winter classes on their campus at 25 Old Mill Road in West Redding. Two classes will be available for young students.

Weaving runs on Fridays from Jan. 23 to March 20, and the class is limited to three students, eight years or older or by special arrangement with the instructor. Cost is $230 per student, with a $30 materials fee.

A two-session Woodworking class also is, scheduled for Fridays from Jan. 9 to Feb. 27, and March 13 to May 1. Both sessions are for ages eight through 13, and the class size is limited to a maximum of four students. Cost is $220 per session with $30 materials fee.
