RIDGEFIELD, Conn.-- The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum in Ridgefield will host a special open house to introduce its newly appointed curator Amy Smith-Stewart to the community Saturday, Sept. 7, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Smith-Stewart was an independent curator before coming to the Aldrich. She is a faculty member of the MFA Fine Arts program at the School of Visual Arts in New York and the MA Contemporary Art program at Sotheby’s Institute of Art in New York.
Smith-Stewart received her bachelor's in art history from New York University and her master’s in contemporary art from the University of Manchester/Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London.
