Veterans Treated To A Special Day In Weston

WESTON,Conn. -- Weston residents honored military personnel on Veterans Day on Tuesday in a ceremony at Weston Town Hall.

Veterans Gen. Richard Stephenson, Rod Rivera, Hal Matthews and Bob Peyreigne shared stories of their military services at Weston Middle School's Living History Museum.

Peter Dey, a first lieutenant n the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve and a middle school teacher, joined the veterans.

A public ceremony was also held at Town Hall. Veterans were also offered breakfast and lunch at Weston Middle School.

The Select Committee on Veterans Affairs and Weston Middle School sponsored the Veterans Day activities.
