WESTON, Conn. – Several Weston Girl Scouts gathered outside Hurlbutt Elementary School to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the community service organization during a Promise Circle.

The girls from Weston joined fellow scouts not only across the state but also throughout the country on March 12 as they held a flag ceremony, recited the Girl Scout Promise and Law, and formed a Friendship Circle.

The Daily Weston reader Michelle Halpin sent us these great pics of the event, which included an appearance by First Selectman Gayle Weinstein.
