Bridgeport Courthouse Reopens After Suspicious Powder Scare

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — The state Superior Court on Golden Hill Street in Bridgeport has reopened after an evacuation Wednesday due to a suspicious powder found in the lobby, the stairs and a courtroom, according to the Connecticut Post.

Everyone evacuated at about noon but went back inside about two laters when it was determined that the powder posed no danger, the Post said.
