8:45 p.m. update: REDDING, Conn. -- Connecticut Light & Power reported a new batch of power outages at 8:50 p.m. Monday.
A total of 77 customers, or about 1 percent of the town, were without power, CL&P said.
It was not clear if this was related to an outage earlier Monday evening. It was not known when power would be restored.

As of 7:15 p.m. Monday, there were 57 customers in Redding without power, or 1 percent of the town.
It was not clear when power would be restored.
