Fairfield County Teacher Is Charged With Sex Assault Of Three Boys

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- An elementary school teacher from Fairfield County who drank diesel fuel and crashed his car in a commuter parking lot in Westchester County, N.Y., was arrested Tuesday and charged with sexually assaulting three young boys, according to a story in NewsTimes.com.

Brian Stroh, 30, of New Fairfield was a teacher at Frank A. Berry Elementary School in Bethel, the NewsTimes.com said. The alleged assaults did not occur on school property.

Stroh also worked at youth camps in Redding and Ridgefield, according to a story on WFSB.com.

The NewsTimes.com story said Stroh was placed on leave and resigned Feb. 19 after police told the administrators he was under investigation by the state Department of Children and Families. That evening, he went to Katonah and drank diesel fuel and crashed his car in Bedford in an apparent suicide attempt, the NewsTimes.com said.

Stroh was arrested Monday on felony charges of fourth-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor, the story said.
