HSBC to Close Branch Bank in Wilton

WILTON, Conn. – Several HSBC Bank locations in Fairfield and Wilton are closing this week, to be reborn as First Niagara branches.

The two locations in Fairfield, on Black Rock Turnpike and the Post Road, and the one in Wilton on Danbury Road will close Friday, May 18. They will reopen on Monday, May 21, as First Niagara branches.

The new Niagra branches in Fairfield, Monroe, Ridgefield, Wilton and Shelton are joining eight existing locations in Fairfield County, including three in Stamford and one each in Greenwich, Norwalk, Westport and Stratford.

According to a release, no current employees at the branches will lose their jobs with the transition.
