NEWTOWN, Conn. — A jackknifed tractor trailer on eastbound I-84 is causing delays east of Danbury Tuesday morning. 

The crash occurred in the eastbound lanes between exits 9 and 10 around 4:40 a.m. The left and center lanes are closed, the Connecticut Department of Transportation estimates. 

The crash could take six hours to clear.

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. - Fairfield County may be seeing a bit more rain: A hazardous weather outlook has been issued for Tuesday afternoon by the National Weather Service.
