Milling Begins In Preparation For Paving On Route 136 In Easton

EASTON, Conn. – The state Department of Transportation announced that milling along Route 136 in Easton has begun, with plans to finish on Friday.

The goal is to mill on Route 136 to roughly a quarter-mile south of Route 25, just short of four miles in total.

The DOT plans to start paving that area on Monday, July 5, aiming to finish on Wednesday, July 15.

All DOT work is part of a larger project to resurface Route 59 in Easton and Monroe.
