Sunny Weekend Ahead As Nor'easter Departs Westport

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- A weeklong stretch of snow and rain has finally departed Fairfield County, leaving a weekend of sun in its wake, according to the National Weather Service.

Sunshine will return to Fairfield County for the weekend.

Friday will feature a mix of sun and clouds with a high near 37 degrees, but wind chill values could make it feel closer to 25 degrees.

Clouds depart the area in earnest on Saturday with sunny skies and temperatures near 40. Steady winds will bring wind chills down to 20 to 30 degrees.

Sunday will feature more sun and highs around 43 degrees.

The workweek will begin with sunny skies and temperatures that could approach 50 degrees.
