Weston Starts Summer Paving Work

WESTON, Conn. – Drivers heading through parts of Weston should be prepared to spend extra time traveling to allow for delays due to road work.

Weston’s Public Works Department has started its annual repaving projects around town. The following streets are scheduled for work this summer, according to the town website: Cavalry Road, Buttonball Lane, Jana Drive, Church Lane, Powder Horn Hill, Brookwood Lane, Old Orchard Drive, Lords Highway East and Hillcrest Lane.

Westport’s Public Works Department also announced last week that it will conduct repairs to the Bayberry Lane Bridge starting Wednesday. The road, which connects with Lyons Plain Road in Weston, will be closed during the work period. Drivers will be rerouted along Coleytown Road when heading into Westport from the area.
