“Pam will bring a skill set to the board that will be an asset to our library strategic plan,” said Britta Lerner, RTC chair.

Kersey holds membership in the Weston Woman’s Club, Weston Kiwanis and Weston Historical Society. In her previous role as CFO for corporate marketing and communications at JPMorgan Chase, Kersey was responsible for strategic planning and managed several space planning projects.

“I believe my background at JPMorgan Chase is well matched to the Library Board,” Kersey said.

The Weston Library will be undergoing a renovation project that intends to incorporate many of the ideas received during the community outreach efforts last spring.

“I think the current initiatives are critical to the continued evolution of our library to even better serve our community,” Kersey said. “Libraries have always been a special place for me. I grew up in a relatively small town and the library always played a central role in my life.”

The Weston Republican Town Committee meets on the second Tuesday of every month. Members of the community are always welcome to attend. For more information, go to www.westonrtc.org.
