Anna Liscio, 85, Longtime Easton Resident. Seamtress

EASTON, Conn. - Anna (Capotorto) Liscio (Nina), a resident of Easton for 51 years, died Saturday, June 15. She was 85.

Liscio was born Nov. 6, 1927, in Cerignola, Foggia, Italy, daughter of Anthony and Constantina Capotorto. She came to the United States in 1947, married and became a U.S. Citizen. She worked as a seamstress in Bridgeport for many years making leather and suede coats, worked repairing and making costumes at a Norwalk shop before working from her home. She was a member of the Notre Dame Lay Ministry often visiting church members in convalescent homes.

Liscio is survived by her daughters, Grace Liscio Stanczyk (John) of Easton, Connie Liscio Grace (Jeff) of Easton, and Patricia Liscio Story (Robert) of Shelton; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; siblings, Anthony Capotorto (Pattie), Dora Santangeli (Nicole), and Teresa D'Arcangelo (Luigi); sisters-in-law, Millie Liscio and Susan Cervone; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Pasquale; a grandson; brothers, Mario Capotorto and Renee Ossie; and goddaughter, Joann D'Arcangelo Pannicia.

Calling hours are Wednesday, June 19 at 9 a.m. prior to Mass in Notre Dame of Easton. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 19 at 10 a.m. in Notre Dame of Easton Church, 640 Morehouse Road, Easton with a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the Notre Dame of Easton Church, the Cardiomyopathy Foundation, P.O. Box 547 Tenafly, New Jersey 07670, or the New England Donor Organization, After Care Program, 60 First Ave., Waltham, MA 02451 in memory of Liscio.
