Anna M. Biagiarelli, 90, Of Easton, Teacher’s Aide

EASTON, Conn. - Anna M. Biagiarelli of Easton died Wednesday, Dec. 18. She was 90.

Biagiarelli was born April 11, 1923; daughter of Joseph and Anna Oprendek. She grew up in Fairfield and attended Fairfield schools. She worked as a crane operator at Bullard Machine Company, and later as a teacher aide in Special Education and in Reading at Helen Keller Middle School in Easton until her retirement. She was a parishioner of St Emery’s Church in Fairfield.

She was a member of their Seniors group, the Ladies Guild, and other groups. She also attended Notre Dame of Easton parish and was active in parish life.

Biagiarelli is survived by her daughter, Lisa Anne Biagiarelli of Easton; sister, Irene Sanislo of Stratford; and extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Peter A. Biagiarelli; and brothers Kalman and Joseph Oprendek.

Calling hours are Sunday, Dec. 22 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Ave., Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, Dec. 23 at 10 a.m. in Saint Emery’s Church, 838 Kings Highway, Fairfield. Friends are asked to meet directly at the church on Monday morning. She will be buried next to her husband and her parents at Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport.
