Piritzky was a Vietnam Army veteran and was honored with a Purple Heart for his service in the Vietnam War. In addition to being an engineer draftsman at Sikorsky Aircraft and a permittee at the Walburn Restaurant in Bridgeport for many years, he was a businessman as a real estate agent.
Piritzky is survived by his wife, Sheila Piritzky, of Easton; daughters, Lana Tonboli, of Ponte Vedra, Fla., and Holly Thomas-Ewing (Aaron) Ewing, of Palm Bay, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be private.
