Florence T. Mastroni, 88, Former Easton Restaurant Owner

NORTH HUTCHINSON ISLAND, Fla. - Florence Theresa Mastroni of North Hutchinson Island, formerly of Easton, Conn., died Sept. 16. She was 88.

Mastroni was born March 15, 1925, in Brooklyn, N.Y. She lived in Easton from the early 50s until she moved to Palm Beach in 1969. While living in Easton, she modeled at Warners and worked with her husband managing the Three Corner Restaurant. After moving to Palm Beach, she was the Dining Room manager at the Gulf Stream Country Club until at age 75. She retired and moved to North Hutchinson Island.

Mastroni is survived by her children, Michael Ward, Nicolette Noakes and Thomas Mastroni, all of St. Lucie County; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Anthony Mastroni; and son, Joseph Anthony Mastroni Jr.

Graveside Services will be held Friday, Oct. 17, at 1 p.m. in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford, where she will be laid to rest with her husband and son.
