Frances L. Binns, 91, Of Redding, Retired Teller With City Bank

REDDING, Conn. - Frances L. Binns of Redding died Saturday, Aug. 3. She was 91.

Binns was born April 15, 1922, in Bronx, N.Y., daughter of William and Sadie Johnson Weiss and had been a resident of Redding for the past three years. Before moving to Redding, she had been a 30 year resident of Bradenton, Fla. Prior to her retirement, she was a teller with City Bank.

Binns is survived by daughters, Karin (Mark) Stern of Redding, Diane Marsh of Brabenton, Fla., Patricia (William) Morgan of Carmel, N.Y., Lorraine Alonzo of Danbury and Justine (Marc) Forman of Fairfield; 13 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; and her husband, Thomas Michael Binns.

Calling hours are Monday, Aug. 12 from 12 to 1 p.m. at the Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher & Son Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, followed by a Memorial Service at 1 p.m.. Interment will be private.
