Rodriguez was born Feb. 28, 1929, in Isabela, Puerto Rico. She graduated from Isabela High School. She moved to Bridgeport, via Brooklyn, N.Y. in 1959 with her family and her aunt, Isabel Hernandez. She worked for numerous companies and retired from the City of Bridgeport Board of Education's Nutrition department.
Rodriguez is survived by her husband, Eddie Rodriguez Sr.; children, Ana M. Shanley and Dr. Walter Shanley of Easton, Judge Eddie Rodriguez Jr. and Attorney Cheryl A. Rodriguez of Easton; and four grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Attorney Carmen Iris Rodriguez; and aunt, Isabel Hernandez.
There will be no calling hours. Funeral services are Saturday, Dec. 21 at 11 a.m. directly in St. Peter Church, 695 Colorado Ave., Bridgeport with a Mass of the Christian Burial. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
