Lillian 'Libby' Fleischer, 86, Of Easton

EASTON, Conn. – Lillian "Libby" Fleischer of Easton died Jan. 30 at her home. She was 86.

Fleischer was born in Bridgeport to Max and Ethel Zouderer. She was a longtime member of Congregation Rodeph Sholom.

She is survived by her husband, Irving Fleischer; two children, Janis Bufferd and Michael (Judi) Fleischer; a sister, Shirly Prussin; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Fleischer was predeceased by a brother, Herman Zouderer; two sisters, Hilda Silverman and Sue Fisher; and a son-in-law, Warren Bufferd.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Abraham L. Green and Son Funeral Home in Fairfield. Burial will follow at Rodeph Sholom Memorial Park in Fairfield.

Memorial contributions may be made to the University of Bridgeport's IDEAL Program in memory of Melissa Rainville, or the Alzheimer's Association.
