To the editor:
Patty Kopas has unaffiliated voters, Democrats, and Republicans in her family and among her supporters. Most importantly, she is a dedicated, talented individual who deserves to be reelected to the Board of Finance.
Underlying all the reasons many of us choose to live in Weston (great schools, rural character, wonderful neighbors who volunteer to make our town better) is another so fundamental it’s good to remind ourselves of it: civility. Again this year civility has been laid aside for partisan politics. Let’s get the political labels off the candidates for our local positions and vote for the best person.
