To the editor:
Please allow me to express my sincere appreciation to the citizens of Westport and Weston for your kindness during the more than two and one half years I have substituted for our ailing friend, Judge Kevin O’Grady.
I am pleased to report that the Westport probate court is shipshape and that all matters are up to date. Such an achievement is directly attributed to our wonderful and efficient clerks, Shelagh Kuhsel, Karen Uccellini, Cortney Baranyai, our high school intern, Ryan Major, and especially our exceptionally kind and knowledgeable Chief Clerk, Shirley Deluca. Their constant attention to the details and understanding of the difficult times in which people must find us makes all the difference for this community.
I am also happy to welcome on board my new colleague and your judge, Lisa Wexler, knowing you will be in good hands.
