Danbury Woman Wanted On Seven Warrants Turns Herself In To Wilton Police

WILTON, Conn., -- A Danbury woman decided to turn herself in to Wilton Police because she was wanted on seven arrest warrants on charges of failing to appear in court for three police departments, police said.

Tori Alverez, 21, of 4 Hillcrest Road, Danbury, turned herself in to Wilton Police after learning there were seven arrest warrants for her.

Tori Alverez, 21, of 4 Hillcrest Road, Danbury, was wanted by the police in Wilton, Danbury and Weston.

Two of the Wilton charges involved a case in which she is charged with stealing jewelry from a home on Olmstead Hill Road in January 2013, police said. She was in a relationship with a member of the household and stole the jewelry when she knew the home would be empty, police said.

The third Wilton warrant was on a charge of failing to appear in court stemming from motor vehicle charges.

There were two warrants each for Danbury and Weston police departments. No details were released on those warrants. 

She was arrested Aug. 27. Bond was set at $76,000, and she appeared in court that day.
