Employee Shot To Death In Robbery At Bridgeport Market

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- An employee at a Bridgeport market was shot to death in a Wednesday morning robbery, according to the Connecticut Post

The robbery occurred just before 8 a.m. at the T. Market at 1482 Reservoir Ave., Bridgeport police told the Post.

The unidentified male worker, in his mid-20s, was shot multiple times and died at St. Vincent's Medical Center, the Post said.

The suspect in the robbery and fatal shooting was described as a “thin, black male,” wearing a mask and camouflage clothing, police spokesman William Kaempffer told the Post.

It was the second homicide in Bridgeport in 2015.
