One-Car Crash In Weston Sends One To Hospital

WESTON, Conn. - A car hit a utility pole Tuesday afternoon in Weston, sending the driver to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, fire officials said.

Weston Deputy Fire Chief Terry Blake described the scene as a "car sheared through an utility pole" on Good Hill Road. Paramedics transported the driver to Norwalk Hospital, he said. No information was available regarding his current condition.

Police arrived on the scene and closed off one lane of traffic.

Connecticut Light & Power crews were called in to fix the utility pole.
