Three Suspects Charged In Weston Home Burglary

WESTON, Conn. – Three suspects were charged with stealing about $20,000 worth of jewelry from a Weston home Monday, according to Weston Police.

A burglary was reported at a home on Godfrey Road East on Monday, according to police reports. A neighbor reported seeing a car fleeing the area and provided a detailed description to officers, police say. Wilton police spotted the car near the Wilton-Norwalk border Monday, according to police reports.

Three men were found in the car, with jewelry reported stolen from the Weston home, police say. The victim’s records showed that the items had a combined appraised value of more than $20,000, according to police. The three are also suspects in other break-ins in the area, according to court records.

Thomas Lyden, 26, Joseph Pagini, 24, and Derek Forsythe, 24, all of Norwalk, were each charged with second-degree burglary, first-degree larceny, second-degree criminal mischief, attempted larceny, possession of burglary tools and three counts of conspiracy. All three were held on bonds and taken to Norwalk Superior Court on Tuesday.
