Christopher Yarrell, 42, was pulled over at about noon on Sunday on a motor vehicle violation, police said.
During the stop, officers discovered that Yarrell was in possession of crack cocaine, police said. A K9 unit was brought in and found crack on both his person and in the car, according to police reports. He was taken into custody.
Yarrell was charged with possession of narcotics and sale of narcotics, as well as driving with a suspended license, failure to display plates, defective windshield/wiper and insurance coverage fails minimum requirements.
He posted $4,500 bond and will appear in court Nov. 18.
