REDDING, Conn. – Two pedestrians were taken to Danbury Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after being struck by a car during Friday’s snowstorm in Redding, police said.
A group of three people attempted to cross Route 7 after their car got stuck in the snow early Friday morning, according to the police report. Two were hit by another vehicle heading south on the road. One was pushed into a snow bank and the other was forced into the third pedestrian, police said.
The two pedestrians who were struck, an 18-year-old Port Chester, N.Y. man and an 18-year-old Greenwich woman, were both taken to Danbury Hospital for treatment for minor injuries. No charges were filed against the driver in the incident.
