Officers stopped Andrew Grabfield at 1:15 a.m. Wednesday, May 6, on a a traffic violation, police said.
While speaking with Grabfield, who was behind the wheel, the investigating officer detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath, police said.
Grabfield failed the field sobriety test and was placed under arrest, police said. The following were the breath test results:
- 1st breath test result was .224
- 2nd breath test result was .209
He was charged with operating under the influence of alcohol, failure to drive right and violation of a traffic commission regulation.
Grabfield was unable to post $500 bond and was issued a court date of May 14, at Norwalk Superior Court.
