Weston Teenager Charged With Shoplifting In Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, Conn. - A Weston teenager was arrested after loss prevention agents from Kohl's Department Store in Fairfield stopped her as she tried to leave the store without paying for more than $50 in merchandise Monday, police said.

Nora Cullen O'Donoghue, 19, took a shirt, bracelet and earrings into a dressing room and came out wearing all the items before attempting to leave the store without paying, according to the police report.

The store's loss prevention agents stopped her and called police. 

Police charged O'Donoghue with sixth-degree larceny and released her on a written promise to appear at Bridgeport Superior Court on Aug. 20.
