Debate Rages On Over Write-In Ballots For Easton First Selectman

EASTON, Conn. -- A court-ordered recount this week found that Adam Dunsby won the race for Easton first selectmen, but the decision is not yet set in stone, according to the Easton Courier.

Dunsby, with 1,060 votes, is leading write-in Val Buckley, with 1,025 votes. The sticking point is 28 ballots that had the write-in oval filled in but no name provided. 

State Superior court Judge Barbara Bellis is expected to make a decision on the ballots in question Friday, Nov. 29, the Easton Courier said.
