"I'm proud to endorse Noam Bramson to be my next County Executive," Cuomo said in a statement. "Government works best when it puts people, not politics, first. We have to deliver real results, and that's what Noam Bramson will do."

This week, Bramson was also endorsed by former President Bill Clinton, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, Sen. Chuck Schumer, the Journal News and members of the Westchester state legislative delegation.

"Governor Cuomo has shown what we can accomplish when Democrats are in charge," Bramson said in the statement. "From his strong commitment to fiscal responsibility, to Marriage Equality, to women's equality, and to the New York SAFE Act, Governor Cuomo has made sure New York is going in the right direction. And Rob Astorino has been opposing the Governor every step of the way. I look forward to partnering with Governor Cuomo to solve the important issues facing Westchester County and New York State in the years ahead."

Bramson and current County Executive Rob Astorino face off on Election Day, Nov. 5.
