Patricia Calandrelli, Former City Employee

A Mass will be celebrated for Stamford resident Patricia Calandrelli on Friday, Jan. 28, at 10 a.m. at St. Jerome Church, 23 Half Mile Road, Norwalk. Calandrelli, a former payroll clerk for the City of Stamford, died Jan. 23 at the William & Sally Tandet Center. She was 86 years old. Calandrelli was born Sept. 1, 1924. She grew up in Norwalk and later moved to Stamford. Her position with the city was the last of a variety of jobs she held before retiring in 1990. Not only did she serve the city as an employee, she also did volunteer work in the community. She was especially recognized for her work with the Stamford Senior Center and on behalf of people with cerebral palsy. She enjoyed spending time with family members and friends and liked a good game of cards.

She is survived by a son, Joseph Calandrelli of Stamford and his wife, Beth; a daughter, Sandra Hepp of Milton, Vt., and her husband, Robert; seven grandchildren, a great-grandson and a number of nieces and nephews. A brother and four sisters predeceased her.

The service will be followed by interment at St. John Cemetery, Richards Avenue, Norwalk. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to a charity of the donor’s choice in Calandrelli’s memory.
