Classes will be held on Thursday, Dec. 18, at 10:30 a.m. and Sunday, Dec. 21, at 1:45 p.m. at Peloton’s 60-bike flagship studio at 140 W. 23rd St. in New York City. These classes will also be live streamed to Peloton riders around the world.

Peloton brings high-energy indoor cycling classes into homes with state-of-the-art stationary bikes specially equipped with a 22-inch touch-screen monitor from which riders can access live streamed or on-demand classes and experience a group cycling class without leaving their homes.

“I am thrilled to teach my first live-streamed class at Peloton this week,” said Lorenz, who lives in Westport with her husband and three young sons. “As an instructor, I am passionate about inspiring riders, so I am excited to have the opportunity to reach a wider audience, especially Peloton riders around the world.”

With her two partners, Amy Hochhauser and Debbie Katz, Lorenz founded and owns JoyRide Cycling Studio, which has studios in Westport, Darien and Ridgefield, as well as San Antonio, Texas, where she developed its exclusive JoyRide Method that combines the core elements of Pilates with indoor cycling.

Riders can book bikes for Lorenz’s class in advance here. Peloton offers new riders their first class for free.
