Build a Model Car, Make A Necklace, Take A Free Ride In Newtown

NEWTOWN, Conn. -- The MOMS Club of Newtown and Newtown Car Show and Kindness Dream Ride are providing all the materials to build a model car or bead a necklace for Newtown residents ages 5-8.

The activity will take place from 1:30-3 p.m. Sunday in the meeting room of the Cyrenius H. Booth Library, 25 Main St., Newtown.

The MOMS Club of Newtown is a chapter of the International MOMS Club. It is a support group designed for both the at-home and working moms.

On June 20, 2016, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., The Newtown Kindness Dream Ride will be rewarding Newtown children for Random Acts of Kindness with a 6.2-mile ride from Newtown High School to the Stop & Shop Newtown Car Show.

This police escorted, speed-restricted dream parade will be bringing many of the most exotic Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Porsches, Vipers, Nissan GTRs, Ford GTs, Rolls Royce and even a Pagani to the roads of Newtown.
